Mark is a sought after keynote speaker, author and certified leadership coach. He is also an elite adventurer and mountain climber, and has worked as a professional adventure guide in the Grand Canyon and Yosemite.
He has climbed mountains all over the world and has successfully summited the highest peak on six of the seven continents. Mark has climbed all of the 14,000-foot peaks in Colorado, as well as such iconic summits as the Matterhorn, the Eiger, and Mont Blanc.
Mark is a busy keynote and workshop presenter, sharing pictures, stories and leadership lessons from his mountaineering adventures. He has taught in this unique and powerful style at conferences and seminars for global corporate giants such as Motorola, Celestica, Deutsche Telecom and T-Systems.
Mark’s passion is translating these lessons to the corporate world in order to positively impact leadership quality around the globe, and transform the corporate employee experience.

Mark has been a Fortune 200 Human Resource Executive with almost 25 years’ experience in human capital management including employee engagement, strategic workforce planning, succession planning, leadership assessment and mergers and acquisitions.
Mark has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (concentrating in Forensic Psychology) from Arizona State University. As an undergraduate, Mark played Division 1 varsity baseball, and was an Academic All American his senior year of college. Mark is certified in both DISC and the Meyers Briggs Type Indicator.
